Capacitive Touch Screens and resistive Touch Screens are two of the most common types of touch screens used in electronic devices. Capacitive Touch Screen:

When a finger or other conductive object touches the screen, it creates a disturbance in the electrostatic field of the screen. This change in the electrostatic field is detected by the touch screen's controller and is used to determine the point of touch. Capacitive touch screens are highly responsive, support multi-touch input, and are typically found in high-end electronic devices.
Resistive Touch Screen:
A resistive touch screen is made up of several layers, including a flexible top layer, a rigid bottom layer, and a thin separator layer in between the two. The flexible top layer is typically made of a resistive material, such as polyester. When a finger or stylus pushes down on the top layer, it touches the bottom layer and creates an electrical connection. The touch screen's controller uses this electrical connection to determine the point of touch. Resistive touch screens are less sensitive than capacitive touch screens, support single-touch input only, and are often found in lower-end electronic devices.

1. Construction: Capacitive touch screens use a single layer of conductive material, while resistive touch screens use multiple layers, including a separator layer.
2. Sensitivity: Capacitive touch screens are more sensitive than resistive touch screens and can detect very light touches.

5. Durability: Resistive touch screens are more durable than capacitive touch screens, as they are less susceptible to damage from scratches and impacts.
